Pero en realidad lo recuerda todo.
Recuerda cómo ambos sintieron una singular atracción magnética por el Maudit, un pico remoto y escasamente documentado en los Alpes suizos. Recuerda la impresión de que no estaban solos. Recuerda que ahí arriba había algo o alguien a la espera...
Y tampoco dice que ahora tiene una extraña sensación. Como si algo hubiera despertado en su interior.

Eigentlich sollte es eine ganz gewöhnliche Bergtour werden, als Nick mit seinem Kumpel Augustin zu einer Kletterpartie in den Schweizer Alpen aufbricht. Doch dann kommt es unterwegs zu einem tragischen Unfall: Augustin stürzt in eine Gletscherspalte, Nick wird schwer verletzt ins Krankenhaus eingeliefert – er wird für immer entstellt sein. Sam, Nicks Lebensgefährte, ist zunächst nur froh, dass sein Freund überlebt hat, aber dann passieren immer mysteriösere Dinge in Nicks Umfeld. Auch Nick selbst verhält sich immer seltsamer, und schon bald wird Sam klar, dass Nick etwas aus den Bergen mitgebracht hat. Etwas Böses ...
ECHO - THE NETHERLANDS (2019)
Nick Grevers en zijn klimmaatje Augustin worden aangetrokken door de Maudit, een afgelegen berg in de Zwitserse Alpen. Documentatie over de berg is schaars, het is er ongewoon stil, en als ze de vallei betreden bekruipt hen het onheilspellende gevoel dat ze niet alleen zijn.Niet veel later is Augustin dood en ontwaakt Nick uit een coma. Hij is verminkt en heeft zijn gezicht in het verband. Een moeizame revalidatie wacht, maar algauw beseft Nick dat het niet alleen het trauma van het ongeluk is dat hem achtervolgt.
Er is iets in hem gewekt…
